भगवद गीता अध्याय 13, क्षेत्र-क्षेत्रज्ञ विभाग योग। श्लोक 20

भावार्थ :

भगवान श्रीकृष्ण अर्जुन से बड़े प्यार से कहते हैं — देखो, प्रकृति और जीवात्मा दोनों हमेशा से हैं, इनका कोई शुरुआत नहीं है। ये दोनों ही अनंत हैं। जो भी बदलते हुए भाव या विकार हमें दिखते हैं, जैसे मोह, सुख-दुःख या फिर सत्त्व, रज और तम — ये सभी प्रकृति की ही देन हैं। प्रकृति अलग-अलग गुण और स्थितियाँ पैदा करती है, और उसमें फंसकर हम कभी खुश, कभी दुखी, कभी उलझे हुए रहते हैं।

असल में, जीवात्मा तो भगवान का सनातन अंश है — यानी उसका मूल कभी बदलता नहीं। लेकिन जब ये आत्मा अपनी पहचान शरीर या बाहरी दुनिया से जोड़ देती है, तब वह माया के जाल में उलझ जाती है। फिर मन हमेशा इधर-उधर भटकता रहता है, छोटे-छोटे सुख-दुःख में उलझा रहता है, और असली शांति उससे दूर हो जाती है।

 पर भगवान साफ कहते हैं — अगर कोई सच्चा भक्त उनके चरणों में अपना मन, प्रेम, श्रद्धा और आत्मसमर्पण लगा देता है, तो फिर उसका जीवन बदल जाता है। वह व्यक्ति सांसारिक भटकावों, मोह और दुखों से ऊपर उठ जाता है, और उसके अंदर दिव्य आनंद, स्थिरता और शांति पैदा होती है। वह न तो हर छोटी बात पर दुखी होता है, न ही किसी चीज को लेकर परेशान रहता है। भगवान की भक्ति में वह खुद को भूल जाता है — और यही असली जीवन है, यही असली सुख है।

इसलिए, हमें चाहिए कि हम इस संसार के बदलते विकारों को पहचानें, लेकिन उनमें फँसे न रहें। भगवान श्रीकृष्ण की भक्ति में खुद को पूरी तरह डुबा दें। जीवन में कितनी भी परेशानियाँ आएँ, अगर मन भगवान के प्रेम में रहेगा, तो हर दुख हल्का लगेगा और आत्मा को असली संतोष और आनंद मिलेगा।

 तो चलो, जीवन के छोटे-मोटे दुखों में उलझे नहीं, बल्कि भगवान के चरणों में प्रेम, श्रद्धा और समर्पण से अपने जीवन को सफल बना दें।

English Translation:

Lord Krishna lovingly tells Arjuna, "Look, nature and the soul have always existed; they have no beginning. Both are infinite. All the changing emotions and disturbances we experience, such as attachment, happiness, sorrow, or Sattva, Raja, and Tama—these are all gifts of nature. Nature creates different qualities and states, and entangled in them, we are sometimes happy, sometimes sad, and sometimes confused.

In reality, the soul is an eternal part of God—that is, its essence never changes. But when this soul identifies itself with the body or the external world, it becomes entangled in the web of Maya. The mind then wanders here and there, entangled in petty joys and sorrows, and true peace eludes it.

But the Lord clearly says, "If a true devotee places his mind, love, faith, and self-surrender at His feet, then his life is transformed." That person transcends worldly distractions, attachments, and sorrows, and divine joy, stability, and peace arise within him. He neither grieves over every little thing nor is troubled by anything. In devotion to God, he forgets himself—and this is real life, this is true happiness.

Therefore, we must recognize the ever-changing distractions of this world, but not remain entangled in them. Immerse yourself completely in the devotion of Lord Krishna. No matter how many troubles come in life, if the mind remains immersed in the love of God, every sorrow will seem light, and the soul will find true satisfaction and joy.

So, let us not get entangled in the petty sorrows of life, but make our lives successful through love, devotion, and surrender at the feet of God.
