श्रीमद्भगवद्गीता – अध्याय 12 (भक्ति योग), श्लोक 13-14

अद्वेष्टा सर्वभूतानां मैत्रः करुण एव च।
निर्ममो निरहंकारः समदुःखसुखः क्षमी॥ 12.13॥

सन्तुष्टः सततं योगी यतात्मा दृढनिश्चयः ।
मय्यर्पितमनोबुद्धिर्यो मद्भक्तः स मे प्रियः ॥ 12.14

अर्थ:जो इंसान किसी से दुश्मनी नहीं रखता, सबके साथ दोस्ती और दया से पेश आता है, उसमें झूठा “मैं” या “मेरा” का भाव नहीं होता, सुख-दुख को बराबर मानता है, और माफ करना जानता है — ऐसा भक्त भगवान को सच में प्रिय लगता है। इस श्लोक में श्रीकृष्ण बता रहे हैं कि सच्चे भक्त की पहचान उसकी पूजा या भजन में नहीं, बल्कि उसके स्वभाव और व्यवहार में झलकती है।

12.14 

जो भक्त सदा संतुष्ट रहता है, जिसने अपने मन और इन्द्रियों को वश में कर लिया है, जो दृढ़ निश्चय वाला है और जिसने अपना मन तथा बुद्धि मुझे (भगवान श्रीकृष्ण को) अर्पित कर दी है — ऐसा मेरा भक्त मुझे अत्यंत प्रिय है। भगवान श्रीकृष्ण कहते हैं कि सच्चा भक्त वही है जो भीतर से संतुष्ट रहता है, अपने मन पर नियंत्रण रखता है, दृढ़ विश्वास रखता है और अपने पूरे मन-बुद्धि से भगवान में समर्पित रहता है। ऐसा भक्त भगवान को बहुत प्रिय होता है।

सच्चा भक्त कौन हो सकता है :

जो किसी से बैर नहीं रखता है , उसमे सबके लिए उसके दिल में प्यार और करुणा होती है 

और अपने अहंकार और लगाव को छोड़ देता है, हर हालत में संतुलन बनाए रखता है 

दूसरों व्यक्ति की गलतियों को दिल से माफ कर देता है

इस श्लोक में  विशेष बात:

हर व्यक्ति को अपने ही भाइयों और लोगों से भी बैर नहीं रखना चाहिए।

यदि कोई व्यक्ति अपने ही भाई से द्वेष रखता है, तो वह भगवान का सच्चा प्रिय नहीं बन सकता।

 

❤️ संदेश:

अगर आप हम इन गुणों को अपने जीवन में उतार लें, तो आप  भी भगवान के प्रिय बन सकते हैं और सच्ची भगती शांति प्राप्त कर सकते हैं।

Srimad Bhagavad Gita – Chapter 12 (Bhakti Yoga), Verse 13

Adveṣṭā sarva-bhūtānāṁ maitraḥ karuṇa eva ca |

Nirmamo nirahaṅkāraḥ sama-duḥkha-sukhaḥ kṣamī || 12.13 ||

 

Meaning: A person who harbors no enmity toward anyone, who treats all beings with friendship and compassion, who is free from the false sense of "I" or "mine," who remains equipoised in both happiness and distress, and who possesses the quality of forgiveness—such a devotee is truly dear to the Lord. In this verse, Sri Krishna explains that the true identity of a devotee is not reflected merely in their worship or devotional singing, but rather in their inherent nature and conduct.

Who can be a true devotee?

One who holds no malice toward anyone, but instead carries love and compassion for all within their heart;

One who renounces their ego and attachments, maintaining inner balance in every situation;

One who wholeheartedly forgives the mistakes of others.

A Special Point in this Verse:

No individual should harbor enmity—not even toward their own brothers or their own kin.

If a person holds malice toward their own brother, they cannot become truly dear to the Lord.

If we cultivate and embody these qualities in our own lives, we too can become dear to the Lord and attain the true peace that comes through devotion.
