भगवद गीता अध्याय 13, क्षेत्र-क्षेत्रज्ञ विभाग योग। श्लोक 24

य एवं वेत्ति पुरुषं प्रकृतिं च गुणैः सह। सर्वथा वर्तमानोऽपि न स भूयोऽभिजायते॥ 24॥ 

जो इंसान असली रूप में समझ लेता है कि आत्मा क्या है, प्रकृति क्या है और उसके तीन गुण —  सत्व, रज, तम — कैसे काम करते हैं, उसके लिए फिर जन्म-मृत्यु के चक्कर का डर खत्म हो जाता है। 

वह जीवन में कहीं भी, किसी भी हाल में रहे, उसे दोबारा इस दुनिया में आना नहीं पड़ता। भगवान श्रीकृष्ण यहां साफ बता देते हैं कि जब कोई यह जान जाता है कि असली मैं यह नश्वर शरीर नहीं, बल्कि भगवान का अंश आत्मा है — और ये भी समझ लेता है कि दुनिया के सारे काम-काज प्रकृति और उसके गुणों से चलते हैं, फिर वह मोह-माया से ऊपर उठ जाता है।

ऐसा भक्त अपने हर काम को भगवान श्रीकृष्ण की सेवा मानकर करता है। उसे न तो सुख-दुख में बहुत फर्क पड़ता है, न लाभ-हानि, न ही मान- अपमान की चिंता रहती है। भगवान की भक्ति और उनके ज्ञान की वजह से उसके सारे कर्मों के बंधन नष्ट हो जाते हैं। उसे बार-बार जन्म लेने की जरूरत नहीं रह जाती। फिर एक दिन वह भगवान के धाम को पा ही लेता है।

असल संदेश बस इतना है — अगर कोई आत्मा, प्रकृति और भगवान के रिश्ते को समझकर श्रीकृष्ण की शरण ले ले, तो वह जीवन-मरण के जाल से छूटकर सच्ची शांति और उनकी कृपा पा जाता है।

ya evaṁ vetti puruṣaṁ prakṛtiṁ ca guṇaiḥ saha । 

sarvathā vartamāno'pi na sa bhūyo'bhijāyate ॥

If you really get what the soul is and how nature works—especially those three qualities: satva, rajas, and tamas—the whole fear of birth and death just fades away. You stop worrying about coming back again and again, no matter where you are or what life throws at you. 

Lord Krishna spells it out. When you realize you aren’t just this body, but the soul—a piece of God—and you see that everything happening in the world runs on nature and its qualities, you step out of all that attachment and confusion. Nothing grabs you anymore.

For someone devoted, every job becomes a way to serve Lord Krishna. Happiness and sadness, wins and losses, respect and disrespect—none of it really bothers you. Your devotion and understanding break the knots of karma. You just don’t need another birth. At some point, you reach God’s home.

That’s the heart of it: truly grasp how the soul, nature, and God are connected. Find shelter in Lord Krishna, and you’re free from the cycle of life and death. That’s real peace, and His grace.
