Shrimad Bhagavad Gita — Chapter 12, Verse 2

 

श्रीमद् भगवद गीता अध्याय 12 — भक्ति योग

श्लोक 2

श्रीभगवानुवाच —
मय्यावेश्य मनो ये मां नित्ययुक्ता उपासते।
श्रद्धया परयोपेतास्ते मे युक्ततमा मताः॥

🌸  अर्थ

भगवान श्रीकृष्ण अर्जुन से कहते हैं कि जो भक्त अपना मन पूरी तरह मुझमें लगाकर, हर समय मेरे ही चिंतन में स्थिर रहते हैं, और किसी भी परिस्थिति में मुझसे जुड़ाव नहीं छोड़ते।

ऐसे भक्त केवल पूजा या कर्मकांड तक सीमित नहीं रहते, बल्कि उनका पूरा जीवन ही भगवान को समर्पित हो जाता है। वे हर कार्य को भगवान की इच्छा समझकर करते हैं और मन में हमेशा श्रद्धा और प्रेम बनाए रखते हैं।

भगवान आगे कहते हैं कि जो लोग इस प्रकार पूर्ण विश्वास, श्रद्धा और एकाग्रता के साथ मेरी उपासना करते हैं, वही मेरे अनुसार सबसे श्रेष्ठ योगी हैं। क्योंकि उनका मन भटकता नहीं, बल्कि स्थिर होकर भगवान में ही लीन रहता है।

 

👉 जिसका मन भगवान में लगा रहे
👉 जो हर समय श्रद्धा से भक्ति करे
👉 जो भगवान को ही अपना सब कुछ माने

ऐसा भक्त सबसे श्रेष्ठ माना गया है।

Sanskrit Shloka:
Shri Bhagavan Uvacha —
Mayyaveshya mano ye mam nityayukta upasate।
Shraddhaya parayopetaste me yuktatama matah॥

🌸 Meaning

Lord Krishna says to Arjuna that those devotees who completely fix their mind in Him and remain constantly connected with Him through devotion are the highest among all yogis.

Such devotees do not limit themselves only to rituals, worship, or formal practices. Instead, their entire life becomes an offering to God. Whatever they do, they do it with the feeling that it is the will of the Divine. Their thoughts, actions, and intentions are always filled with faith, love, and surrender to God.

The Lord further explains that those who worship Him with complete faith, deep devotion, and steady concentration are considered the most superior yogis. Their mind does not wander towards worldly distractions but remains stable, peaceful, and absorbed in God alone.

 Simple Understanding

👉 One whose mind is always fixed on God
👉 One who worships with constant faith and devotion
👉 One who surrenders everything to God

Such a devotee is regarded as the highest and most perfect yogi.
